Geoffrey Godbey has been a Professor at Penn State and elsewhere, a professional rock drummer, part owner and editor of a publishing company, a tennis and squash player and a gardener.  His poetry has appeared in The Nation and elsewhere. Finishing Line Press published Finding Home in 2013. Robert Bly, Joseph Grucci, John Haag and former US Poet Laureate Donald Hall have taught him and praised his work. He is the father of two daughters and lives on a ridge in Central Pennsylvania with the artist Barbara Metzner.
