We Slept in Body Bags, Just in Case by Melanie Sevcenko

$12.00

Melanie Sevcenko is a startling new talent. Her poetry encompasses wind-blown, wide-open spaces while whispering its confidences. Deft, with a lightness of touch, it speaks profoundly of a life torn free of its roots.”

–Victoria Gosling, The Reader Berlin

We Slept in Body Bags, Just in Case brings us a crisp voice in contemporary poetry. Everyday observations are disassembled through lyrical storytelling and brought to us with poignant clarity that is at once subtle and vivid. Melanie Sevcenko’s work is instinctive and insightful and her authentic narratives encompass the idiosyncratic patter of modern life.”

–Sharmaine Lovegrove, Dialogue Books
