State of Colorado Artist Fellow Kathryn T. S. Bass holds a Ph.D. in Creative Writing from the University of Denver. Her poetry has appeared in two books — Within/Without(2005) and Bright Seeds (2005) — as well as dozens of journals, including American Tanka, The Amherst Review, The Formalist, The Prose Poem, and Quarter After Eight. An experienced marketing writer, educator, and editor, Kathryn serves as a Young Audiences Residency Artist and as a Senior Copywriter with the Rocky Mountain Region’s largest independent advertising agency.
