“Modern parables tell a story that is not set hard in a time or place, but that tell eternal stories in a context we are all familiar with. Once the meaning is imported into our postmodern world, the meaning becomes clearer. May we all find our Good Samaritan”.

–Rev. Teri Nilson Baird, The Gadfly Pastor

“Old Stories Retold is the same old stories told in a refreshing new way.  The familiar made to seem brand new. The twists of humor and wit are engaging. Great read.”
Cat Goguen, co-host of the Backstory Sessions podcast

Bill McCann takes us on a journey into creation and Egypt with pieces based on Bible stories inextricably linked to our past, present, and future. Stories that teach us a thing or two about ourselves.”

–Allen Blair, editor of The Uncommon Grackle
