Kate Fadick worked for over 25 years as a community organizer and advocate for social justice in rural Appalachian communities and urban neighborhoods. Now she lives in Cincinnati and considers her :day job: as that of poet.

Her work has appeared in Appalachian Connection, Pine Mountain Sand and Gravel, For A Better World (anthology of poems and drawings around the theme of social justice), A Few Good Words (Cincinnati Writers Project 2012 anthology), and Buddhist Poetry Review.
