Philip Kenney is an author and psychotherapist. He makes his home in Portland, Oregon with his wife, two sons, and his rose garden. Mr. Kenney’s most recent publication is a chapbook of haiku entitled, Only This Step. In 2018 he published The Writer’s Crucible: Meditations on Emotion, Being and Creativity. That book was a finalist for The Red City Review Non-Fiction Book of the Year. On occasion, Philip gives workshops based on The Writer’s Crucible at The Attic Institute for Arts and Letters in Portland.
