Kathleen McCann lives in Weymouth, Massachusetts and has been writing poetry for over forty years. She has two chapbooks: The Small Hours, and The Sea’s Rosary in print and two full-length collections: A Roof Gone To Sky, and Barn Sour. Her poems have been published in many magazines to include: Threepenny Review; Poetry East; Sonoma Mandala Poetry Review; The Texas Review; Interim; The Comstock Review; American Writing; Borderlands; and The Midwest Quarterly. One of her poems, Lone Egret, was selected by Ted Kooser for his syndicated newspaper column: American Life in Poetry.  Kate is bivocational. In addition to being a poet, she serves in pastoral ministry for the United Church of Christ.
