Wild Plums by Helga Kidder

This is an excellent chapbook of quality poetry. Helga Kidder‘s poems are both stirring and skillful. Her exquisite use of careful diction and rhythm results in some of the finest poetry I’ve read, and I’ll be watching for her first full collection, which I would anticipate is coming soon. I have learned from this poet just by reading her work. This is definitely one of the best poetry chapbooks FLP has put out in the past few years.
